Ohio State Marcus Williams Pursuing Degrees
Marcus Williams came to Ohio State in 2006 from Ironton High School in Ohio as a walk-on running back. He played on special teams and got 19 caries against Kent State as a sophomore in 2007. As a junior, now on scholarship, he recovered a fumble in the rivalry game against Michigan. He is now pursuing a number of degrees and told us about the national perception of the Buckeyes in addition to what he feels they can accomplish in 2010.

What are your future goals at this time?
I'm currently working on attaining my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and MBA degrees... I would eventually like to open up a private practice somewhere around the greater Columbus area.
What was the best part of your time playing for the Ohio State University?
The people, the relationships I built over my 4 years with the Bucks are irreplaceable, it truly is a brotherhood.
Did last year's Rose Bowl and this year's Miami game change everyone's minds about the quality of Ohio State football?
I think they have, but people tend to have very short memories when it comes to the Buckeyes success, which is a shame. One bad performance and the media will be all over us. OSU has been a top 5 program for nearly a decade, and one win or loss should never be used to define us.
What will be the keys this season for the Buckeyes to get back to a BCS bowl and win the Big Ten?
Consistency... If they play sound football week in, week out there is no doubt in my mind that the Bucks will be playing for the National Championship. The talent is there!
