Eveyone thinks they have a shot at Pryor:
THE HIRING of Bob Huggins as West Virginia's new basketball coach may end up paying dividends for the Mountaineer football program.
One of the top-five football prospects in the nation is a 6-6 athlete from Jeannette High School near Pittsburgh, Terrelle Pryor.
Pryor is also an outstanding basketball player and wants to play both sports in college. Earlier, he had committed to Pitt, but has since de-committed from the Panthers. His top two choices are now thought to be Penn State or West Virginia.
He is playing AAU ball for the Pittsburgh J.O.T.S., a team coached by longtime Pittsburgh businessman, J.O. Stright. Stright is very close with Huggins and many of Stright's former players used to matriculate to Cincinnati to play when Huggins coached the Bearcats.
While Pryor is a two-sport stud, his best long-term sport professionally is thought to be football. He was a quarterback-athlete in high school, but might be a better linebacker or receiver prospect at the college or NFL level.
