The number one selling football magazine, Athlon Sports,
have ranked the Buckeyes number two in their annual Top 25 Rankings.

The Nashville, Tennessee
based company also predicts the Buckeyes will win another outright Big Ten
Title. In the number one position sits Florida, a team the
Buckeyes have seen their fair share of on the gridiron and on the hard court.
It should also be noted that in 2007 Athlon Sports Magazine was the number one
magazine in terms of prediction accuracy. Senior Editor Mitch Light explained his
logic behind the pick saying, "There isn't an apparent weakness on this
team. The schedule has a few hurdles, notably at USC, at Wisconsin
and at Illinois,
but we'd be very surprised if the Buckeyes aren't in the national title hunt
very late in the season.”
The Buckeyes also
have 11 All Big Ten Performers. They are as follows:
First Team All-Big
Ten and First Team All-American- Chris Wells and James Laurinaitus.
First Team All-Big
Ten and Second Team All-American- Malcolm Jenkins
First Team All-Big
Ten and Third Team All-American- Alex Boone
First Team All-Big
Ten- Todd Boeckman, Brian Robiskie, Marcus Freeman and Anderson Russell.
Second Team All-Big
Ten- Brian Hartline and Kurt Coleman
Third Team All-Big
Ten- A.J. Trepasso
