Bradley Roby and The Buckeyes are Back

If not for an NCAA imposed bowl ban, Ohio State would have been taking on Alabama for the National Championship last January instead of the outmatched Irish. The mighty Buckeyes actually went undefeated, a feat which is extremely difficult to accomplish in the mighty Big Ten. Most of the experts already have Ohio State as the second best team in the country and they're expected to begin next season with a number 2 rating.

Ohio State Football may return to its past glory next season mainly because of a stout defense which features ESPN All-American Cornerback Bradley Roby. The Junior From Suwanee GA, led the nation in defended passes and was a semi-finalist for the Thorpe Award last season. He has started all 25 Games over the past 2 seasons and his 4.3/40 speed is sure to make him one of the top corners in the nation again this year. Roby is more than just a speedster with pass defending skills. He was third on the team with 63 tackles and he recovered a fumble and a blocked punt in the end zone for touchdowns. Roby also returned a pick for 6 points against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, making him the only player in the Nation to score a TD in 3 different ways. Roby blocked a punt in a 1 point victory over Michigan State and his defensive and special teams abilities are a big part of the Buckeyes pre-season buzz. With 2 time National Champion Head Coach Urban Meyer at the helm, Ohio State is sure to challenge for the Big Ten Title and may play for the Crystal Football next January.
