Ohio State knows that they will have to play a near perfect game and execute on every down if they hope to compete against Wisconsin. The offense the Badgers bring to Ohio is rated first in the Big Ten in scoring in addition to being second in rushing and first in passing. Wisconsin won last season against a Buckeye team that was rated #1 in the country, at the time, leading Terrelle Pryor to say that Ohio State could win 9-10 games against the Badgers. Pryor is no longer with the team and his Buckeyes are considered a 7 point underdog this year.
Wilson is the player that drives Wisconsin and is considered the 2nd most efficient quarterback in the country, leading to frequent Heisman speculation. And his dual threat nature scares defensives who fear that he will take off and run for big gains if they are able to contain the rushing game and the passing offensive of Wisconsin. A young Buckeye defensive will need to play a great game to keep the Buckeyes in the game while getting turnovers like they did against Illinois, could put them over the top.
